The provision runs out of a classroom on the school site and has the use of all school facilities and grounds. It runs from 7.45am to 8.50am and 3.30pm to 6.00pm on all school days. Holiday club facilities are also available. Our club is run by Ms Rachael Cummings and supported by Mrs Julie Chapman (Deputy) Miss Sophie Smith, and Mrs Maz Roberts.
To discuss your needs please drop in at the times given above or contact Rachael on 07981 108257.
As with all KIA clubs, our club is ‘creative and innovative, with expert staff. We create a family, homely, nurturing atmosphere. We reinforce good manners, being healthy and set a great example. We have fun. We promote teamwork and collaboration. We make sure we hold appropriate conversations and value every person. We challenge and ‘raise the bar’. We develop a ‘have a go/can do’ attitude in children and staff. We create surprises and ‘opportunity thinking’. We enjoy going outside as often as possible (being outdoors has a positive effect on relationships/nature alleviates stress/children are more attentive/it provides opportunities for various sensory experiences/it stimulates desires to investigate and experiment/it develops vital muscle tone/children and adults use more complex language when outside/by taking risks and challenges, children learn how to take care of themselves and others)….we also have experts delivering homework support, arts and crafts and sports. This creates a very special place where every child and adult can blossom. Home isn’t a place, it’s a feeling!’
