Welcome to Ryhall Church of England Academy

On behalf of the staff, children and governors, thank you for taking the time to visit our site. I hope your tour will give you a flavour of what it's like to be a member of the Ryhall Church of England Academy family. We aim to give you information about the school and the community it serves. If however, you cannot find information you are looking for, please do not hesitate to contact us.  Tours around the school are always welcomed; only then will you get the true taste of Ryhall Academy life.

Our aim is to develop the whole child, emotionally, intellectually, physically, academically and spiritually. We want our children to look back with pride and move forward with confidence.

We live to a clear set of Christian Values; compassion, endurance, friendship, respect and trust. The children describe Ryhall CE Academy as their ‘Friend Ship’, a place where all are respected and valued for their individuality.

We might be a small school (138 children currently on roll), tucked away in the beautiful village of Ryhall but we have the most wonderful facilities to support our curriculum.  In our extensive outdoor area we have a beautiful wildlife garden that hosts our bird watching observatory, mini beast hotels, and reflection space, a trim-trail, games pitch, outdoor stage and vegetable gardens.  Our church is St. John’s Church in Ryhall and we are visited by the Rev. Paddy McKee each week when he leads our assembly.

As I hope you will see throughout the website, I am very proud of the children and staff here at Ryhall Academy.  The staff team is highly professional and work very hard to build lifelong experiences and memories for all of our children.  We value the fact that we are well supported by parents, including our fantastic Friends of Ryhall Primary School (FORPS). We pride ourselves on high standards of teaching and learning, pupil welfare and behaviour and achievement. Children enjoy coming to school and we continue to hold an excellent attendance rate.

Thank you again.
