NEW RECEPTION 2020
13th July - see updates below.
We want to wish a very warm (if virtual) welcome to Ryhall CE Academy to all of our new families. This page is just for you and we hope you will find it really useful! In the coming days and weeks we will post lots of useful information including links to our virtual welcome meetings, virtual visits and lots more.
You can contact Mrs Carlton, our Reception Class teacher, directly by emailing: email@example.com
If you would like to find out more details about the starting school procedures, staff, environment, curriculum and much, much more please do watch the ‘Parents Induction Meeting’ video which will be posted here soon. Also you can read further detail about the approach to curriculum design in Early Years in the Class Pages section of the website (see Belvoir Class - the name for our Reception Class).
We hope that you are now in receipt of your induction pack which includes all the paperwork for completion. Please return this as soon as you are able.
You should now be in receipt of your arrangements letter for the new academic year. This can also be found in the documents section below - note that the PDF below is particularly for RED (St. Matthew's) House - you should have received a letter letting you know which House your child is in. The email on which the letter arrives should also include your invitation for the Zoom meeting that you are invited to on Wednesday 15th July. Please let us know if you have not received this by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or telephoning 01780 762447.
You will also find below a 'Transition Journal' for you to look at with your child. It shows the staff with whom your child will work as well as some photographs and explanations of the Early Years environment. We hope you like it.
Don't forget that you can also head over to our Facebook page @ryhallceacademy where you can catch up with all the latest news and achievements as well as what's coming up. Once your child officially joins us (at the start of the new academic year), you will also be invited to join the closed PTFA facebook page for our Friends of Ryhall Academy (FORA). They plan a number of fabulous events throughout the year.
For now, stay safe and we hope to see or hear from you soon.
