Our School

School

Ryhall CE Academy is a Church of England school belonging to the Peterborough Diocesan Education Trust (a multi-academy trust based in Northants). We work closely with the church community in the village and regularly take the children to St John's Church in Ryhall for Christian celebrations. Reverend Jo Saunders, our local vicar, is a familiar face at our assemblies in school and together we aim to reflect our Christian Foundation.

The school was opened in its present position, on the south-eastern side of the village, in September 1963.

We would like to establish a “partnership” with you to ensure that your child gains the maximum benefit from his/her time with us. We hope that both you and your child will become involved in our school community.

Further information can be found in our prospectus, or coming to see the school for yourself. If you have any further questions, or you would like to arrange to come and see Ryhall please contact us.

Peterborough Diocese Education Trust

A cord of three strands is not easily broken.’ (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)

We belong to the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET), a multi-academy trust formed by the Peterborough Diocese Board of Education.

‘Our family of schools seek to serve their local communities; they are inclusive welcoming children of the Christian Faith of other faiths or of no faith, children from all backgrounds and of all abilities. We believe in the infinite worth of each person: children deserve the very best education and staff merit support to deliver this. Although the multi-academy trust was formed initially to support church schools, PDET is happy to work with any community school that shares our values.’
