Visiting Us & Parking
We welcome visits to the school and politely ask that all visitors and parents/carers/family members work with our parking guidance (see attachment below) in respecting both the school grounds and staff cars parked within it, as well as the local community.
Ryhall Academy does not have a carpark for drop-offs and the adjacent streets become congested at peak times. Our car parking space is limited to 'staff only use' from 8am to 5.30pm every day due to its small size. This also applies to parents/carers who might be dropping off/collecting children from our wrap-around care with Premier Education during these times.
Parking at the village hall (just at the top of the lane to school i.e. Church Lane) is possible, though it is designated for hall users only. It is possible to use this when not being used for a function at the hall.
Limited parking is possible in Parkfield Road and St John’s Close, but you may find parking spaces easier to find in Rutland Way and Church Street. They are not far away at all, but just give yourself a little more time to walk the extra distance.
Please do not park on zig-zag yellow lines or within 10m of a road junction as this can obstruct children’s view of the traffic and cause congestion as vehicles cannot negotiate junctions safely. Please do not park in front of someone's driveway - remember an emergency vehicle may need access at any time.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
